Introduction

Alexander practises in general civil, professional negligence, EU, employment and intellectual property law. He appears regularly in the County Courts and High Court in matters involving interlocutory relief, property, contracts, housing, as well as in matters involving directors, shareholders and the like. Alexander has expertise in representing insured professionals and their respective professional indemnity insurers in matters spanning a wide variety of professions, but most notably solicitors, accountants and architects. He has in-depth knowledge of the law of trademarks, in particular the operation of the Trade Marks Act 1994 and relevant EU Directives.

Alexander also practises in international law, both public and private, as well as in matters involving human rights, in which he has appeared in the Court of Appeal. He is currently developing his practice in international law, with a focus on conflicts of law, disputes spanning various jurisdictions and state immunity.

Alexander is a member of the Franco-British Lawyers Association. He is fluent in Polish and French; with an excellent command of Russian, and is currently learning Mandarin.

Alexander is qualified to accept instructions directly from members of the public in appropriate cases.
