Christopher was called to the Bar in 2003 and joined St Philips Chambers in 2004. He now specialises in public law children matters. He appears regularly in the Family Court before both Circuit and High Court judges and has previously been shortlisted for the “Birmingham Barrister of the Year” award. He is part of the recruitment committee within Chambers.

Public Law Care and Adoption
Christopher has vast experience in complex and difficult public law cases under the children and adoption legislation, representing all the various parties. He has particular expertise in cases involving complicated medical issues, including those where children have died, those featuring fabricated and induced illness, cases where placement out of the jurisdiction is proposed, cases with confidentiality and disclosure issues and others involving the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court. He also conducts matters to appellate court level, including the Court of Appeal.
Christopher provides public law training to solicitors, local authorities and other professionals involved in this arena. This includes seminar presentations and court skills workshops.+ Add to Brochure
