Introduction

Emma joined chambers following the successful completion of her pupillage. She accepts instructions in all practice areas, with a particular interest in family.

Having read Law with French at the University of Birmingham, Emma went on to study her LLM in European Union Law and secured pupillage upon the completion of her BPTC in 2013.

Emma regularly appears in the County, Crown and Magistrates courts. She is always well prepared, is approachable, and will offer sensible and realistic advice.

Personal Injury

Emma is regularly instructed to appear in personal injury proceedings on both the small claims and fast tracks, and has experience of a variety of matters, including slip and trip and road traffic accidents. She appears at both interim hearings and trial and has experience of acting for both Claimants and Defendants, including Claimant children.

Emma frequently advises on both merits and quantum. She is happy to accept instructions to advise in preparation for, or to appear at court in, infant approval hearings.

Emma has appeared in the Coroners Court and is keen to develop this area of her practice.
