Louise McCabe Regulatory

Call: 1996

Rated as ‘Band One’ in Chambers & Partners, Louise is a specialist Financial Remedy and Inquest practitioner, who is well respected and highly thought of for both the quality of her Court performance and the extremely practical advice she gives at every stage of proceedings. Louise will be extremely robust when required, but is also very sensitive to the vulnerabilities of clients. She has an excellent ‘bedside manner’. She is a fearsome advocate, and particularly skilled at conducting cross examination.

When called upon to fight, she has been described by clients as capable of taking the other side “to pieces” but will still use her best efforts to remove parties from litigation at every stage of proceedings where possible. She is extremely practical and commercial in her approach.

She also has valuable judicial experience, she is a Deputy District Judge sitting in Civil and Family throughout the midlands, also regularly sitting as an assistant Coroner for Staffordshire.
