Lydia Pemberton

Introduction

Lydia joined Chambers in 2009 following successful completion of her pupillage. She has developed a chancery/commercial practice with her time split mainly between Wills, Trusts and Probate and Insolvency work (company and personal).

Lydia is often instructed at the advice stage pre-litigation and will remain instructed to the conclusion of proceedings. She regularly appears in Multi-Track and High Court trials and interlocutory applications. She has also been instructed in ADR including mediation and Lands Tribunal Arbitrations.

Lydia was appointed to the TSol Regional Panel as junior counsel in October 2012. Primarily she acts for HMRC in insolvency matters and for the Secretary of State in Directors Disqualification Proceedings.

Lydia coordinates the St Philips Junior Commercial Team and regularly speaks at seminars both in chambers and at clients’ offices.

Lydia has recently provided articles for LexisNexis.
