Introduction

Naomi has a broad chancery commercial practice with a particular emphasis on property and private client work. She was appointed to the Attorney General’s Regional Panel (Civil) in 2007 (re-appointed 2010), through which she also receives instructions in Directors’ Disqualification proceedings and judicial review, including immigration and planning.

Naomi has a good level of French, Italian and Spanish. She plays violin in and is Chair of South Birmingham Sinfonia. She also enjoys theatre and travel.

Court of Protection & Social Care

Naomi has extensive experience of advocacy and drafting pleadings and advice in respect of applications before the Court of Protection. Her recent experience includes advising deputies in carrying out their duties; in the sale and transfer of property belonging to the patient; the making and variation of statutory wills; and applications to remove attorneys. She recently delivered a popular in-house seminar on dealings with property in the Court of Protection.
