Oberon Kwok

Oberon accepts instructions in chancery, civil and commercial law, and has particular experience in insolvency work. He appears regularly in the High Court and County Court on matters within these practice areas. He has been involved in major cases including the Lehman Brothers Waterfall I and Waterfall II disputes and the Bernie Madoff fraud litigation (Primeo).

 Before St Philips, Oberon completed his pupillage at a top tier commercial and insolvency set in London. He joined St Philips as a third six pupil in October 2015.

 Prior to being called to the Bar, Oberon also had experience as an intern at the Financial Conduct Authority, where he worked on the Libor rigging scandal.

Oberon read Law at Downing College, Cambridge, where he was awarded the Squire and Senior Harris scholarships. He is also a Lord Denning scholar at Lincoln’s Inn.
